A leading medical technology MNC hiring of Regional Medical Affairs Director

Our client is a Fortune 500 member and a worldwide leader in medical technology industry. They have been advancing the world of health and driving the transformation of global healthcare, making direct impacts to hundreds of thousands of patient's lives.

The challenge

The role will be reporting to the Global VP, Pre-Analytical and funcational reporting to Global VP, medical affairs. You will be responsible for evolving and implementing Medical Affairs strategies and programs for the Region as well as countries. Direct, and coordinate Medical Affairs and Clinical initiatives at the highest level of management and coach, guide and monitor its successful implementation through Country Business Leaders and Country Medical Associates in a complex MNC environment.

Engage with external stakeholder's i.e. lab fraternity, associations and accreditation bodies and create impetus to elevate Pre-Analytical practices through consistent awareness, education and training.

Provide Leadership to Medical Affairs organization through acquiring, retaining and developing the right talent.

Work closely with the Global Vice President, Medical Affairs to ensure alignment of Medical Affairs strategy with the Global Medical Affairs strategies and to ensure that needs are well understood and supported by the global team.

Requirements

  • MD in Pathology / Ph.D. in Medical Sciences / Master in Laboratory Medicine
  • Min. 10 years experience in the medical diagnostic industry including Lab Management, Clinical Laboratory Operations.
  • Experience in Marketing / Sales are preferred but not must. Multi-country, multi-culture experience preferred.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in 'clinical selling', consultative selling' and 'value selling' required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Clinical issues in Laboratory Medicine
  • Ability to work effectively with and direct activities of KOL
  • Ability to work with people from diverse cultures
