About our client: A new fund management company (PE) based in Singapore established in 2019. Strongly backed by leading Asian conglomerates and family offices. They aim to set up the fund(s) with a vision to bring impacts on our community that aligns with the theme of sustainability promoted by the UN that include, but not limited to, healthcare/insurance-tech, food-tech, enviro-tech, mobility-tech, etc.
What are they looking for: A senior candidate who shares the company's overall vision and will be able to manage the fund and the team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional to get broad exposure, pioneering the industry and improve sustainability within our global community.
Requirements: Candidate must have at least 10+ years of investment experience related to managing investment portfolio, consulting, investor relations in conjunction with certain level of familiarity with asset management. The candidate must be equipped with strong network, presentation skills with a strategic mindset and exceptional leadership who is familiar with healthcare and investment sector. The position is required to have the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects within a constraint time framework and willing to play an initiative role. The candidate shall have a profound experience in the regional market.

Establish and execute: deal sourcing, deal structuring, valuation, due diligence, investment strategy, portfolio management, exit plan, etc.

Be able to read and understand legal documents

As a figure head of the fund, the candidate should be able to communicate efficiently with LPs and potential investors

Day-to-day management of the investment team

Oversee the operation of the entire fund-affiliated entities, ensuring financial management and compliance

Work with the founders to develop a business plan/strategy that addresses both the firm's mission for improving the sustainability in the industry and the firm's financial outcome.
Qualification required:
- BA and MBA
- At least 10+ years of direct investment experience in investment banking, consulting with corporate experience with a certain degree of exposure to fund management
- At least 5+ years of leadership experience
- Expertise in healthcare sector would be a plus, should be familiar with the healthcare sector to execute the deals
- Understand the regulatory framework that the project and/or the company needs to comply with
- Strong financial and analytical skills and reasoning abilities, with high attention to details
- Good written and oral communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the company and external partners.
- Global mindset and collaborative attitude to work with international team and investors.
