Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for providing direct supervision to production & engineering resources assigned as well as hands-on support to manufacturing assembly & test processes for flow cytometry instruments.

Reporting to the Staff System Engineer, you will lead cross-functional project teams and handle day-to-day technical issues through failure analysis and troubleshooting to determine root causes. You should also be able to implement timely and effective solutions and aim to continuously improve processes to achieve optimal operations efficiency.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have a degree in Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering and have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in using and/or developing flow cytometry instrumentation. Strong knowledge and understanding of PCB layout / schematic diagrams is a must.

You should be familiar with module level testing and have good technical skills as this role requires 70-80% of hands-on testing. Candidates with prior New Product Introduction experience in a regulated environment and familiar with ISO 9000 / ISO13485, medical device manufacturing experience will be preferred. Experience implementing Demand Flow Technology processes and 6 Sigma Green/Black Belt or LEAN certified will be advantageous. This role may be required to travel as well.
