Our client, a global pharmaceutical leader (MNC) is looking to hire a Facilities Lead Engineer (Manager) to join their team.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible to lead and oversee fire protection and alarm systems across the site in compliance with relevant company guidelines and local regulations. You will also lead integrated facilities management plans to ensure efficient operations for fire protection, alarms and security systems, and develop improvement plans management programmes.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities for this role include conducting gap assessments for fire protection and alarm systems and card access system across the site, and using the information, you will develop system improvement plans to support the Company's overall business goals.

Working closely with the relevant departments, you will leverage on best practices to drive improvements plans and identify bad actors, and conduct maintenance optimization reviews with key stakeholders to achieve this goal, based on the business requirements. You will also manage the fire protection services provided by the external outsourced party to meet the service level agreement (SLA) and track the KPIs.


The ideal candidate should come with a least six (6) years of manufacturing plant experience in the pharmaceutical / chemical / petrochemical industry, and have strong knowledge in fire protection systems and codes, eg BCA Act, SCDF Fire Code, Facility Fire alarm and detection System SA 903, EHS Loss Prevention SN 38.

The candidate should be able to show resourcefulness and ability to work independently, and able to effectively present information in a clear and defined manner to different levels of stakeholders for decision making process.
