Director - Channel Optimisation (Consumer Banking)

This is a Director level role with our global banking client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the channel distribution (physical) / branch network optimisation in designing and implementation initiatives, for the Group Consumer Banking division in the region.


  • Responsible for implementation of end-to-end branch transformation agenda
  • Track the performance and franchise metrics including channel usage, cost, space, headcount in the identified regional countries
  • Identify physical channel cost, targets and allocation frameworks
  • Implement strategic plan for branches (in: size, location, journey) that delivers the consumer banking strategy to clients while optimising the bank's cost structure
  • Have strong stake holder management skills to collaborate with Director, Group Channel Optimisation to maximise ROIs
  • Drive omni-channel experience and the physical network focused on serving affluent clients
  • Develop standardised metrics to measure branch performance in cost / profitability of the region and countries
  • Contribute to design global target operating model for physical channels flexible to the particular country's specific needs & growth opportunities


  • Strong Analytical Skills for MS Excel, PowerPoint - in data modelling, analysis and articulation
  • Minimum 7+ years in financial industry
  • Direct experience of managing channel distributionor performance management
  • Track record in Management Consulting firm / background is of great advantage
