My Advice:Businesses have evolved in the past few years and have realized the importance of a good Human Capital strategy in place to ensure they attract and retain their talent to remain competitive. This has translated in HR moving from the traditional HR administrative roles to providing strategic and valuable insights to the business by working closely with the senior leadership team. As a candidate, it is important to develop strong business partnering skills, being able to engage with the senior leadership team and having excellent communication skills. A strong candidate will be someone who is able to do strategic HR while having a strong gravitas on HR daily operations.
I have over 7 years of recruitment experience across a number of disciplines and international markets. I started my recruitment career in Singapore where I was recruiting for Finance & Accounting positions with a global recruitment consultancy firm. Having done that successfully for 2 years, I moved internally to take on a new challenge to be part of the HR recruitment team start up in KL, Malaysia. I managed the HR Recruitment Team for 4 years and specialized in middle to senior level management HR positions across industries. I am highly consultative in my approach and believe in providing valuable insights to my candidates and clients; in order to bridge the talent shortage and help organizations to attract the right talent and for professional to find the right role aligned with their career aspirations.
