In line with their continuing growth in the Malaysian market, they are looking to recruit a Senior Director to be responsible for expanding the sales efforts in the country. Overall this person will be responsible for generating agency and client leads in the region which will effectively increase advertsing sales revenue across the businesses whilst identifying and managing any advertising sales agent relationships in the region. Responsibilities will include:
- Strengthen the relationship between clients and media agencies in order to achieve advertising sales budgets.
- Work with the VP on the sales strategy for the marketplace.
- Keep abreast of the market situation.
- Work closely with Marketing to make certain trade marketing and PR are optimal.
- Responsible for co-ordination with the Client Servicing Team ensuring contractual obligations are met on event campaigns and broadcast sponsorships.
Skill and experience required:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Creative and sales oriented
- An interest in broadcasting
- Written and spoken Bahasa would be a plus
- Detail orientated
Education/Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Advertising or Mass Communication

Global Private Bank / Wealth Manager has an opening for an autonomous and experienced Legal Entity Controller to help with the continual development of the Singapore Entity. The role will manage the LEC functions for the private bank. Reporting into a senior VP you will take ownership of the business as usual functions and work closely with the business to develop and enhance some new procedures.
The role will amongst other things include:
- Ad-hoc projects liaising with senior stakeholders across the business
- Provide support for new products and initiatives locally and globally
- Month-end close and financial reporting
- Regulatory disclosures in accordance with MAS guidelines
- Liaison with Internal and external auditors and tax agents
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in regulatory reporting and strong knowledge of MAS guidelines. An FS audit background with some Legal Entity Controlling experience in a Singapore bank would be the preferred background. Strong interpersonal skills and some exposure to projects would be ideal but banking experience is a must have.

As part of their regulatory affairs team, this position is a largely a project management role, where it will be the interface between the regulator and internal teams across several jurisdictions. You will be tasked with managing the information requested and provided to the regulators in each of these regions, organising internally accordingly. As the global Financial Services industry faces increased pressure to conform to more defined guidelines, you will need to be a strong presence internally and externally. The main aspects of your role will include:
- Provision of support to the local compliance officers across APAC in response to ad- hoc regulatory RFIs and examination/ review requests.
- Liaising with global regulatory affairs colleagues to leverage information already provided to non- APAC regulators when dealing with regional requests for information.
- Liaise with compliance governance team to ensure that all regulatory commitments are appropriately recorded and tracked.
