Our client a global asset management house, is looking for a Risk Manager to join their Singapore office. This role will work closely with the London office and will help in setting up Risk Management policies and procedures accross Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Risk Management Oversight

• Implementation of Global Risk policies and procedures, and management of local exceptions

• Management and global reporting of local Key Risk Indicators

• Assist the UK Risk teams in month end, year end and Group regulatory requirements including ICAAP, as well as managing local reporting requirements through the assistance of the local compliance team

• Produced global monthly Risk board reports of limit breaches and other notable events and projects

Market Risk

• Support and control oversight of the local dealing function including intra-day sensitivity analysis and exposure management, as well as localized VaR and end of day return on risk assigned capital

• Risk based input to detailed asset and portfolio performance analysis including review, validation and commentary on local trading results on the daily basis

• Development of portfolio, client and volatility scenario analysis and Market Risk stress testing

• Directing implementation of Local Risk Framework (limits, processes, culture, tools)

• Support the dealing function on ad hoc risk issues such as liquidity, customer concentration, product margining etc

Credit Risk

• Local margin management analysis and review

• Development of processes and controls relating to corporate credit terms

• Local/regional stress testing and capital allocation modeling

• Assist Global Financial Risk Management in credit and asset liquidity reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

More than 4 years Financial Services Risk Management experience

Good market Risk experience

Degree Qualified
