Job Description

A Global Investment Bank with broad areas of financial services for institutions, corporations and high-net-worth individuals has a role for Director - Financial Reporting. The position is based inSingaporereporting to the CFO - SEA. The role is to develop and maintain the control framework for theSingaporeentities in CIB, Security Services and Asset Management.

The role will include but definitely not be limited to:

• Ensure to develop and maintain the control framework
• Single point of contact for HK regional platform and Paris HO
• In charge of the integrity of the accounting static data
• Represent Finance and Control in the New Product Approval Committee.
• Lead and participate in the finance related projects affecting SEA Finance
• Support CFO - SEA on all aspects related to F&C
• Support the CIB business for the accounting treatment and posting of new CIB products and structures
• Reporting directly to the CFO
• Lead a team of 6 members on Financial controls and projects

In order to be successful in the role you will be a qualified accountant/accounting degree holder with strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting. You must be a top level communicator with the ability to work autonomously. The ideal profile will be from Investment Banking or Corporate Banking with a minimum of 10-15 years experience and team leading role of 5 yrs. Minimum auditing experience would be an advantage. Good experience on Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Financial Control and the accounting processes, and in-depth understanding of IFRS,BaselI and II are essential.
