VP/AVP - Fund Accounting - Private Equity

Job Description

Global Private Equity Firm with an established and growing presence in Asia - specificallySingapore- has a brand new opening for a VP/AVP - Private Equity Fund Accounting Operations role. This is a role to support Director of Operations inSingaporewith more than USD5bn asset under their management focusing mainly in Emerging Markets.

The role will include but definitely not be limited to:

• Perform accounting matters for Private Equity Funds, including review of monthly/ quarterly management reporting, annual financial statements and GST returns
• Ensure that deadline are met
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, property managers and legal counsels
• Supervise and provide training to the team members
• Launch and setup of new funds
• Primary Relationship Manager to the stake holders and fund participants in REIT/Private Equity
• Reports to Director of Operations (Singapore)

This role requires an accountancy degree or post graduate qualification (CPA etc) and a good knowledge of US GAAP. ACCA background would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will come from a Private Equity Firm or Private Equity Fund Services Business where you have been a Senior Accountant for a minimum of 5yrs.
