Market Risk Project Manager (1 year contract)

Job Description

The role will be responsible for the project management related activities including

• Manage MRM tasks, schedules, project planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with MRM strategy, commitments and goals
• Interface between MRM and IT
• Partner/vendor management

• Adhere to and promote appropriate software development and project management lifecycle (SDLC and PMLC) methodologies within MRM.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years project management experience in the financial services industry
• Prior experience with SDLC and PMLC methodologies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and mediation skills
• Participate and lead the project design, coordinate project user acceptance testing and deployment.
• Extensive computer skills in all MS Office applications, including MS Project, PowerPoint and MS Excel
• Market Risk domain knowledge
• Knowledge of Murex
• Possess certified Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP) is preferred.
• A graduate degree in finance is preferred
