Legal Counsel

Job Description

Due to recent expansion, they require someone to join the legal team in Singapore as a legal counsel.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing general legal support and advice to all parts of the bank's operations and business units across the region
• Reviewing and advising on all bank documentation
• Assisting the business in structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions and liasing with external counsel on key areas of litigations, etc

My client is looking for the following requirements in the right candidate:

• Degree in Law with a minimum of 3 years PQE or in- house experience
• Works well within a team and independently, self motivated, proactive, analytical and able to multi- task
• Able to provide clear advice and express opinions strongly if necessary
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Can be called to the Bar anywhere in the Commonwealth or the US
