Compliance Controls Manager/ Director

Job Description

My client, a bulge bracket bank, is looking for two people to join it’s compliance control team. 

As well as being generally involved in managing compliance risk for the business the role involves the specific following tasks and responsibilities:

• Mapping out local controls and indentifying the local application of global controls.
• Assisting in the development of the local controls strategy, dealing with stakeholders across APAC, and ensuring alignment with the global consensus.
• Engaging the business and support functions and all stakeholders where necessary to perform controls
• Identifying systemic risks within the business through the controls performed and agree action plans and the monitoring of the execution of such plans.
• Drafting of control and investigation reports

My client is looking for someone who has the following:

• Previous experience working across either the legal, compliance, regulatory or audit .
• Good knowledge of wealth management products
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills
