Our Client is a Manufacturing Company looking for an Immediately available Internal Auditor

Must Haves:

• 3-4 years experience in Internal Audit in Manufacturing Industry
• Willing to travel 50-70% in APAC
• English & Mandarin speaking
• Manufacturing background
• Audit & Accounting background
• Immediately Available
• Big four experience

ROLE:

• The position will report to the Director of Risk Assurance who is responsible for risk management strategy as well as internal audit. The incumbent’s audit work will be supervised and reviewed by the Group Internal Auditor.
• This is a new role providing an opportunity to evolve the internal audit function and gain exposure to senior business managers and key operations across the Group. While the role will be based in Singapore, the incumbent will audit the companies businesses mainly in Asia and Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete at least 20 internal audits per year.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls, assessing compliance with the Group's policies and making recommendations to improve internal control and risk management.
• Summarise audits results in a report and keep complete and accurate working papers for each audit.
• Set up and deliver processes to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding audit issues
• Support the Director of Risk Assurance and Group Auditor in ensuring that the Group fulfils its Corporate Governance requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• The successful candidate will be a commercially minded,
• qualified accountant with experience in internal audit
• demonstrating excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with a focus on career development.
• He/she will be able to demonstrate significant international exposure and will thrive in widely differing markets and business cultures.
• A willingness to travel up to 70% is essential to the delivery of the role. Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a requirement (additional language skills will be a plus).
• University Degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualifications
• 3 to 4 years of audit experience, preferably in Big Four firm
• Able to work on his/her own with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Diplomacy, tact; ability to communicate with people of all levels and influence change.
• Propose value-added improvements in internal audit and assurance that are compatible with the Group’s direction on risk management
