Job Description

The Equity Derivatives (EQD) Reconciliations and Controls Team in Singapore is responsible for operations controls for EQD Global Banking Markets (GBM) Singapore. The team also covers reconciliations, business and data management functions with the aim of safeguarding and precaution of any profit & loss impacts toward our bank, at the same time, meeting operational & profitability targets, whilst disseminating management policies throughout the bank.

Roles/Responsibilities

The EQD Reconciliations and Controls team leader is responsible for leading the EQD recs and controls team. The duties include:

  • Reconciliations - Supervising team members who are required to perform EQD inter-system, FOBO and investigate all breaks by trade date + 1
  • Controls - Review control processes for all EQD Global Banking Markets (GBM) operations processed in Singapore. This requires a thorough understanding of all EQD processes done in Singapore. Candidates are expected to liaise closely with process stakeholders
  • Business and data management - Monitoring key risk indicators for EQD processes to ensure that operating environment is properly controlled.
Skills/Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in banking operations in a risk and controls related position
  • Minimum of 2 years of people management experience
  • Working experience in equities and/or equity derivatives products
  • Strong knowledge of the front to back processes of operations
Educations/Qualifications

Degree Qualified
