Getting Paid

We can work directly with Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents or those in possession of an Employment Pass. For those without an employment pass, one of our recommended outsourced partners can assist.

Direct with Morgan McKinley

For Singaporean Citizens, Permanent Residents or those in possession of an Employment Pass, Morgan McKinley will support you directly throughout the contracting process. Once we have secured an assignment and agreed rate, all you need to do is send your details to our contracts administration team and we will do the rest!

We will provide you with a monthly timesheet template that you need to complete and have approved by your ‘on site’ line manager. Simply forward that to us immediately after the end of the month, we will process your pay and deposit it into your account no later than the 7th of the following month. We will look after all remittances of CPF and any other statutory charges.

Contractors are responsible for their own taxation and will need to keep their own records in order to support in the preparation of appropriate payments and annual submissions.
 

Utilising our Outsource Partner

If you are new to Singapore and require an Employment Pass then it makes sense to work with one of our outsource partners. They will assist you in acquiring an Employment Pass that is necessary before being able to start any type of employment in Singapore. Their service covers all the statutory requirements, administration and accounting processes involved in the payment of contractors. This includes invoicing, collection of fees, calculation and payment of the relevant taxes, provision of compulsory insurances and contributions to pension and employee benefit funds.

Fixed Term Contracts

From ‘time to time’ our clients will offer you the opportunity to work directly with them (on their payroll) on a fixed term project. This is more akin to being a permanent employee and for the time you are working on the project you will become part of that organisation. Even though you are working directly for the employer, your Morgan McKinley consultant will keep in touch with you and provide support and advice in regard to the current and future assignments/projects
