Pok Yien Quek is a consultant with Morgan McKinley Singapore’s financial services team. He is responsible for recruiting qualified professionals for risk management and insurance roles covering market risk, operational risk, credit risk, actuaries, underwriting and product development.

Yien Quek initially joined Morgan McKinley as a researcher in 2011; he was then promoted to the role of a consultant as a result of his hard work, enthusiasm and dedication. His research background has strengthened his ability as a consultant having handled all aspects of the recruitment cycle. This in turn has enabled him to build up an impressive business network in the Singapore market. Prior to joining Morgan McKinley, Yien Quek worked for a leading securities firm in Singapore as a dealer. He took the responsibilities of managing and executing trades on behalf of clients. He also monitored and managed clients’ risk exposure and provided advice on the equity market to them.

Yien Quek graduated from the University of London and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. In his free time, he enjoys football, poker and reading.
