Profile

John specialises in recruiting legal and compliance professionals within the financial services sector. The types of roles that he recruits are a broad mix including compliance, legal counsel, derivative lawyers and corporate secretaries.

Before joining Morgan McKinley in 2010, John worked for a leading global search firm for over four years specialising in finance and sales & marketing recruitment based in the UK. He successfully launched a new sales business for the firm nationally, and moved to their Finance team afterwards.

John graduated from the University of Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in Economic and Social History attaining a 2:1 and subsequently joined the prestigious Cadbury Schweppes graduate programme and was the quickest to be promoted into an account management role.

Originally from London, John has lived in Edinburgh for the past eight years before moving to Singapore. John enjoys rugby and golf a lot, which he played rugby at county level when he was at school. He also spent 18 months traveling and working in Australia and also lived in Thailand for a period.
