Gurj has a strong recruitment background with over six years working in the industry. He began his career in Birmingham UK, where he worked for a leading financial recruitment company in a regional role focusing on senior interim hiring within the commerce sector. He subsequently accepted a position with a boutique search firm where he managed a team of consultants and researchers specialising in front office commercial banking recruitment. Before joining Morgan McKinley, he helped launch and establish the commerce and industry business for a global recruitment consultancy firm in Mumbai.

Gurj leads the IT division at Morgan McKinley Singapore overseeing a team of dedicated consultants and researchers recruiting professionals for the commerce & industry sector. Gurj develops and drives the strategy, structure and execution of 360 degree recruitment assignments with the goal to make Morgan McKinley the first point of call for both existing and new clients in the Singapore market.

Gurj holds a BEng Electronic Engineering from Birmingham City University. He is an avid sports fan, who regularly participates in a broad range of sports ranging from football, tennis to restoration yoga.
