Chay specialises in recruiting experienced IT professionals, within the banking and financial services sector.

Chay joined Morgan McKinley in 2009, having previously spent over two years working for a Singapore based boutique recruitment firm, where he also specialised in IT recruitment.  He has a strong knowledge of the local market and has established a solid business network here in Singapore.  Chay manages an impressive client portfolio of international investment banks, wealth management houses, consumer banks as well as software vendors and international blue chip firms related to the banking and financial services industry.

Chay holds a BA (Hons) degree in Interior Design from De Montfort University in the UK.  After graduating, he relocated to Singapore and began his career working as a lead designer within Corporate Projects where he provided design solutions to clients in the banking sector.  This was a client facing role which gave Chay an insight into the banking industry and its culture, and allowed him to develop his account management skills.  After several years, Chay decided to leverage on this experience in order to pursue a career in executive recruitment.

Chay enjoys keeping fit by running and playing squash and likes to keep up to date on current affairs.
